In Cloud Integration, there is a SuccessFactors adapter, when you select it, you can chose whether to use OData or SOAP protocol.

You can use the OData adapter or SOAP adapter to connect to an SFAPI depending on which SFAPI you are planning to use. SOAP is only used for CompoundEmployee as other are deprecated.
